erm... first photo-manipulation... EVER
I'm sure it's been done before, or at least something similar, but... *sticks out tongue like a two year old* rather spontaneously random, kinda for =Kiltul but mostly for me  stock: hand: [link] ~KWstock balloon: [link] ~photos-for-you clouds: [link] ~stock-devil-breath background texture: [link] ~Insan-Stock hand texture: one of my pictures 8D ~edit and now my ID 8D Comments
 It looks like an old painting, and its interesting to look at.

[link] ~ Avatar made by me.   ooh, it looks kind of like a really old oil painting... i like the effect. what if the balloon was real-looking (like photograph rather than paint looking) and the string gradually faded from real to painted between the balloon and the painted hand? lovely, though... good effects.
hm... interesting, lemme try that *trudges back to photoshop* though the string bit it'll be hard, cause it's part of the bottom-most layer

I don't know squat about photo manips, so I won't try to critique it...
-- Depth perception is over-rated...  that looks very cool! i like the line, very interesting.

 The textures are so different! I love the leaf texture in the hand-- Don't worry. I won't steal your bags and search them, even if you have crack in them *under breath* Luke- Mr.Lake ...what?- Luke ~~ Top Ten Reasons Why I Procrastinate 1.  The texture of the wall makes a very pleasing background - rather reminiscent of frescoes, I think. Great use of the crack as the balloon string, and the opposing flashes of bright colour in the balloon and hand emphasize the diagonal. Lovely work. ^^
